We explore and discuss the salt marsh ecosystem, its wide variety inhabitants and the connections with the history and culture of the island. Our captains have years of experience exploring the Hilton Head waters and conveying information in a way that’s interesting and fun. 1 TO 2½ HOURSWhile a 1½ hour trip is our most popular eco tour length, we offer a variety of programs from 1 hour to 2½ hours, as well as options to customize even longer trips if you're looking to spend the better part of the day on the water.

ALL AGESThis trip is available for All Ages of participants.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. -
BACKCOUNTRYThe Backcountry includes the inshore waterways like tidal creeks, marshes, rivers & sounds. These are typically calmer water excursions, where you don't have to worry about your "sea legs". Crossing the Hilton Head Bridge from the mainland gives a great view of some of the backcountry waters we explore.
