Hilton Head boat rentals from Live Oac allow you to create your own experience on the water.

20' Hurricane Deck Boats (NOT Pontoons!) for up to 6 passengers per vessel.

All boat rentals are full service charters and always include a USCG licensed captain, knowledgeable about local waters.

You’ll find the rates are competitive with rentals-on-your-own after you factor in fuel charges, prop insurance, etc. that accompany those types of "bareboat" rentals. No additional charges on our rates! Also, you’ll have the advantage of a captain who knows the local waters, which are full of sandbars, mudflats, oyster beds and other nasties hidden by our 7-10 foot tidal range. With a captain, you also have the bonus of being able to do things like tubing or watersports that might not be possible on a bare boat rental. Our captain is basically your chauffeur and can go where you want, when you want.

How much time do we need?
Live Oac SUV Boating™ charters can accommodate up to 6 passengers per boat, and we have multiple boats available for larger groups.

Our 2 hour Dolphin Wildlife Refuge Tour™ is our most popular. It gives us plenty of time to explore, see dolphins, and learn about the backcountry waters. For private charters looking to add activities like cast netting or crabbing, the 2 hour is typically recommended.

We can get out and have a good dolphin experience in as short as a 1 hour trip, and that is definitely recommended for groups with children 3 years or younger.

A 1½ hour trip offers a nice compromise between the two if you’re not sure.

Longer trips are available, but are generally recommended when adding other activities such as watersports, fishing, beachcombing, or destination trips.
