Live Oac's Fishing Charter Boats

We offer a number of different Hilton Head fishing boats appropriate for different trips, from our comfortable SUV Deck Boats, to our shallow water skiffs, a classic 25' sport fishing boat or our flagship Freeman 29.

The best thing to do is ask us for advice on choosing the best fishing boat to match your group for the best fishing trip. Our fishing targets and techniques vary throughout the year and we want to provide the ideal experience for you.
All Live Oac fishing charters are led by experienced professional fishing guides who are USCG licensed captains and include boat, fuel, bait, tackle, and space in an iced YETI cooler. No experience is necessary. Most fishing trips are private charters, but limited shared trips (split charters) are available. Pricing and max capacity varies by boat and trip type. We’re just a phone call away for advice and reservations.

“A Live One”

Freeman 29 Catamaran
Guided by Capt. Blair Willis
Experience one of Hilton Head’s fastest and softest riding charter fishing boats. The Freeman 29 has a huge 10’ beam with lots of space, more like you would expect on a 34’ deep-vee in comparison. Find out why there is a 3 year wait to build a new boat from Freeman Boatworks…The ride is unbelievable!

She is equipped with the latest gear and technology: radar, autopilot, and Sirius XM satellite radio & offshore weather service.

The oversized t-top provides plenty of shade, and a soft cushioned “chaise lounge” style seating extends through the fore deck, along with console and aft seating.

She fishes anywhere from inshore to offshore and in between. Bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, she's ready to tackle just about anything.

The “Hammerhead”

25' Sport Fish Express
Guided by Capt. Travis Meissner
This classic South Florida style charter fishing vessel offers plenty of shade and lots of room. The “Hammerhead” runs inshore and nearshore trips for up to 6 people.

Retro style meets modern technology as she’s been custom fit with a Yamaha F250 four stroke outboard clearing up the aft deck for plenty of fishing area, even when doubled up on fish.

We’ve updated her with a large live well so it’s perfect for live bait bottom fishing and trolling. For bottom fishing, we target sharks, red drum, black sea bass, whiting and more depending on the season. She’s also setup great for trolling and we target species like bluefish, spanish mackerel, kings, and more at different times of year.
Capacity: Max 6 guests, but if ALL adults we recommend 4 for the optimum fishing experience.
